Continental Paper Grading in York, PA has an open to the public paper collection.
Location: 3350 Concord Rd, York, PA 17402
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
No outside drop-off container and absolutely no dumping is allowed.
Accepts (separated):
- White paper - office paper, junk mail, newspaper, magazines catalogues, etc.
- Brown paper - corrugated cardboard, empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls, paperboard cereal boxes, tissue boxes, etc.
- Books may also be recycled, but hard cover books must be separated from soft cover books.
If recycling a large quantity of material, businesses and residents must call ahead at 717-885-7881.
Hard-to-Recycle Plastics
York is home to CRDC Global, which operates the RESIN8 process. This technology turns hard-to-recycle plastics into a resin aggregate used in concrete, giving plastic waste a second life in long-lasting infrastructure instead of landfills.
This approach tackles waste at a systems level, not just through individual habits.
