Refillism's Essential Oils
Share
Here’s a list of the essential oils and oil mixes we have at Refillism! All of these products can be filled in-store and have wonderfully unique ways they can assist in your everyday life.
Lavender Essential Oil - Use this oil in a diffuser to promote sleep and lessen anxiety. You can also add a few drops to bath and body products, or combine it with a carrier oil like jojoba oil. Doing this not only makes the product smell good, but adds anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties to your lotion. Make sure not to apply it directly to your skin without diluting it first!
Eucalyptus Essential Oil - This is a great oil to use with a diffuser as an air purifier, an anti-inflammatory agent in aromatherapy (it has potential benefits for people with chronic pain), and as a relief for cold symptoms. It can also be combined with a carrier oil for anti-fungal treatment and to make an insect repellent. We recommend talking to your doctor first before using this oil around children or during pregnancy!
Sweet Orange Essential Oil – Sweet orange is known to reduce anxiety through aromatherapy as well as reduce pain and acne through its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial qualities (if used with a carrier oil or another diluting agent like coconut oil or a lotion). Because of its anti-bacterial traits, it is a great oil to mix with home cleaners. This not only ensures a deep clean, but wards off any bugs that might be sneaking into your home.
Golden Jojoba Oil - While not technically an essential oil, jojoba comes from a shrub native to California. It can be used to combat acne, soothe sunburns, and to strengthen hair!
Sweet Almond Oil - An oil known for not clogging pores, sweet almond oil is good for massage therapy, moisturizing skin and hair, helping to heal eczema, preventing damage to the skin from UV radiation, and preventing signs of aging.
Jasmine Rose Shower & Bath Oil - This oil is a combination of apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, and sunflower oil. Apricot kernel oil can assist with relieving pain through massage therapy. Both sweet almond oil and sunflower oil work as moisturizers and can be beneficial for strengthening hair.
Chamomile Vanilla Shower & Bath Oil - This bath oil is also a combination of multiple essential oils including: sunflower oil, apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, chamomile essential oil, and vanilla extract. Chamomile essential oil poses many benefits including reducing depression, promoting healthy sleep, and alleviating pain.
Beard & Hair Oil - A mixture of coconut oil, jojoba oil, hemp seed oil, tea tree essential oil, orange bitter essential oil, and peppermint essential oil. You should use 4-5 drops and spread through damp hair for the best strengthening and moisturizing effects!
Castor Oil - Castor oil is made from castor plant seeds. It has many different uses including: arthritis treatment, strengthening and growing hair, acne treatment, moisturizing dry skin, and healing wounds.
As always, we recommend consulting your doctor if you would like to begin using essential oils more regularly! Our oils are meant for external use only. If you're interested in using them in your household or around children, check out this article for more important information on the correct dilutions to use depending on your child's age. Feel free to comment any questions you might have!
