Earth Month at Refillism: Events, Giveaways & Community Impact

April is a meaningful month at Refillism. It is Earth Month, it marks another year of the store, and it is a chance to bring people together around simple, practical ways to live more sustainably.

Everything happening this month is rooted in one idea. Small actions matter. You do not need to change everything at once. You just need a place to start.

All Month Long

Refillism will be open every day in April, including Mondays.

Throughout the month, donations will be collected for the Plastic Pollution Coalition, and customers can sign a leaf in-store as part of a growing visual display of community impact.

These small moments are a reminder that individual actions add up.

Earth Week: April 19 to 25

Earth Week is the most active week of the month.

Customers will receive a free gift with any $25 purchase, and there will be a daily giveaway throughout the week. In addition, Refillism will donate one dollar to the Plastic Pollution Coalition for every in-store refill purchase.

This is designed to make participation easy. 

Earth Day and Refillism’s Birthday: April 22

April 22 is both Earth Day and our store’s anniversary.

There will be a free gift with purchase and a large in-store giveaway. A plant potting bar will be available throughout the day, along with birthday treats in-store.

Refillism is also partnering with Britton Coffee. Customers who bring a reusable mug to the Britton Coffee York location (1125 Edgar St, York pa 17403) can receive a free coffee while the Refillism tab lasts.

A mix of workshops and community events are scheduled throughout the month.

• April 25 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Garden of Edy pop-up featuring upcycled products & Plant Potting Bar with Commonly Overlooked
• April 26 at 4:30 PM - Making Flower Essences Workshop with Rissa Miller

This month is not about doing everything perfectly. It is about showing what is possible when small changes become part of everyday life.

Refilling, reusing, and making more intentional choices does not have to be complicated. It just has to be consistent.
