This class invites guests into the quiet world of nighttime herbal allies, plants traditionally used to support relaxation, restorative sleep, and dreaming. Ideal for anyone navigating stress/transition and light sleepers, this class blends herbal knowledge with an understanding of how the body repairs itself at night. Participants will explore bedtime rituals, and learn how to prepare teas or infusions that unwind the nervous system.
Rissa will discuss the physiology of rest, dream-supporting plants, and how to create an evening routine that honors the body’s natural rhythms. From pillow herbs to gentle nervines, students discover how simple botanicals can deepen sleep and encourage more vivid or insightful dreams.

About Rissa:
Rissa Miller is an editor, author, herbalist, seer, and storyteller. It's rare to find Rissa without tea. No matter where she is or what she's doing, a mug of green tea is her constant companion. Tea is one part of her love of plants. She holds a deep reverence for plants and the answers they offer, whether as smoke in the air, a healing salve for the skin, a plant on the windowsill, or nourishment for the body. She studied herbalism at Chestnut School for Herbal Medicine and the Herbal Academy, and is a member of the American Herbalist Guild.
